To make “food” a more enjoyable experience.
Omeletyellow introduces Japanese culture through three types of hospitality, all rooted in respect for tradition.
Food-focused guided walk in Asakusa, Tokyo
We offer guided walks in Asakusa with a focus on food, including visits to local supermarkets, speciality food shops, and traditional Japanese confectionery stores. There is so much to discover!
Japanese Home Cooking
Home cooking is a fusion of tradition and innovation, where new styles are constantly being created. Please also take note of the tools and tableware we use- they are an important part of the experience.
Experience the Tea Ceremony
The tea ceremony is a gathering to enjoy matcha. Please relax and enjoy both drinking and preparing matcha in a comfortable, table-and-chair setting. As a practitioner trained in the Urasenke tradition of Chado for over 30 years, I will prepare matcha for you and guide you in making your own bowl.
We believe that to experience food is to experience culture. We hope our service will offer you a small but meaningful taste of Japan.
